The function of evaluation research is to provide support for ongoing projects by acting in a cross-project manner to secure cooperation within individual projects, to advise participants, to collate solutions, to evaluate results and to identify opportunities to achieve broad practical implementation of individual aspects of the projects. Evaluation researchers work in conjunction with the members of the Advisory Council instigated for the purposes of the initiative and also cooperate closely with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training.
