DECVET - The ten pilot projects

Ten pilot projects in different branches from different regions develop and test transferable procedures for the accreditation of competences and learning outcomes.
Differentiation by interfaces

The systematic development of procedures for the assessment, accreditation and recognition of learning outcomes relates to the following four interfaces:

Interface between vocational preparation and the dual system of vocational education and training (I)

  • BWHW e.V. – Educational Institution of the Employers’ Federation of Hesse (VhU) & INBAS GmbH – Institute for Vocational Training, Labour Market and Social Policy
  • Deutsche Bahn (German Railways) - DB Training (Training Unit of Deutsche Bahn)
  • ÜAG Jena gGmbH – a non-profit inter-company training association for the promotion of work and employment

Interface within the dual system of initial vocational education and training between joint cross-cutting VET qualifications within a single occupational field (II)

  • Consortium of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Association of Chambers of Industry and Commerce, the Baden-Wuerttemberg Chambers of Crafts and Skilled Trades’ Council and the Ministry of Education Baden-Wuerttemberg
Interface between dual initial vocational education and training and advanced vocational training (provided by the Federal Government pursuant to §§ 53 ans 54 German Vocational Training Act) (IV)
